If you want to become the guitarist that you have always dreamed of becoming, you simply have to raise your standards!
Raising your standards mean doing more than you have done in the past in order to achieve a higher goal.
I personally get frustrated at times when I see an individual develop their guitar playing but fall short due to a lack of discipline and self-motivation.
I know that private practice done in a meticulous and disciplined manner will always produce the best guitarist in the long haul.
There is no amount of talent that can beat sheer hard work. And when I say hard work, I don’t mean frustrating work. I mean hard work that you love!
Have you ever asked yourself the following question – how would I feel if I can raise my guitar playing by 30% in the next year or by 50% in the next year? Or even become double of what I am today. Or Triple, or EVEN Quadruple!
Chances are, you will be extremely satisfied with yourself.
The truth is, you can achieve these goals, but you do need to put in the time and effort required.
You do need to spend time. Perhaps you need to book an intense guitar course and get top-notch education from a master for 3 to 4 hours a day for two or three weeks.
I’m a firm believer in deep and lasting immersion. The only way I can change your guitar playing is by pushing yourself so hard that you’ll never forget it.
Nothing beats a great education, and that is definitely the first route to take.
In addition to the above, I also advise doing the following:
The truth is, your level of guitar playing comes down to your dedication to the instrument.
