As your success is ours, we coach all our students in the best manner possible to ensure that they build their electric guitar skills on a strong foundation. Taking time to ensure that the basics are fully understood and mastered before moving to the next level is key to your guitar success.

During your beginner electric guitar lessons, you will work on various aspects of electric guitar playing that include learning how to read tablature, the notes on the fretboard, the names of the open strings, the note names on string 5 and 6, basic strumming patterns for the electric guitar, how to perform a basic guitar solo and how to play hammer-on, pull-off, vibrato and slide. Your instructor will also stress the importance of developing excellent right and left-hand techniques.

As a beginner electric guitarist, you are immediately eligible for training at the London Guitar Institute. There are no pre-requirements. Lessons take place weekly at set times and days.

A one-time registration fee of £95 is due prior to starting your course.
